Debut transformation: from metal to country.
Olivia Felo came of age in the Salem, Oregon, music scene, where a spirit of experimentation unified a variety of music fans in support of the underground. She sees a similar phenomenon in her new home of Lynchburg as an alternative identity emerges through the cracks of a youth culture paved by Jerry Falwell. Olivia will give anything a listen but gets most turned on by danceable music that pushes the envelope. Holding a B.A. in English from Randolph College, she has the highest respect for the written word and the knuckle tats to prove it. As a writer for Magazine33 Olivia seeks to reveal the raw sincerity of a community on the brink.
