Kat is currently living in Fredericksburg.  She is a senior finishing up her degree in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography at the University of Mary Washington.  Having spent most of her life in Africa (in places such as Nairobi, Kenya, Windhoek, Namibia, Luanda, Angola and Pretoria, South Africa) with an avid photographer as a father, she has had some amazing photographic opportunities and has been no further than an arms-length away from a camera since she can remember.  She enjoys playing classical guitar, which she picked up when she was 13-years-old, and loves listening to all kinds of music but is a metalhead at heart.
